Warin Well Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing acupressure therapy.

Shiatsu treatment uses the same points on the body as acupuncture, but does not involve any needles. Shiatsu involves applying pressure with thumbs, hands, fingers and sometimes even elbows, knees and feet. Developed in Japan, it originates from the traditions of Oriental medicine as well as western massage techniques.

As well as being an immensely relaxing experience, Shiatsu has been shown to be beneficial in promoting long term well-being in body, mind and emotions. Physically Shiatsu helps to relax the muscles fully, stimulate the circulation and the flow of lymphatic fluid, it also works on the nervous and hormonal systems.
